## This post is going to be about bread ### My next mission with Gemini was to find a blog that related more to my specific interests, since up until now I have mostly spent time exploring general blogs that have given me a general overview of Gemini. I have a few specific interests related to digital media that I hope to explore more on Gemini in the future, but for now I decided to keep my options open and look for any type of blog that related to anything that resonated with me. That is when I found a Gemini page that I never would have expected: a blog all about making bread! I love bread and I also love really niche blog topics like this because it’s fun seeing people get so passionate about something. ### => //a1000duck.flounder.online/ said bread blog ### This blog has an English and a German section, and I naturally stuck with the English section because I know next to no German. This author seems to still be building up this blog so there is not much content, but it is cool because the user is German so I was able to learn about traditional German bread rolls. The author goes through the whole process of making these breakfast bread rolls, so maybe I will try to make them some day after finals when I have a bit more time on my hands. But this blog got me thinking about what other types of foods or customs from around the world that I could possibly find on Gemini. I had not considered this a possibility, but Gemini’s simple setup and rather small amount of users provides a great opportunity to learn about other cultures and traditions beyond what I know here in America. ###I found another blog with vegan recipes, which is also interesting to me because I have been looking to cut down my meat intake and I also live in an apartment now, so I need to figure out things to cook for myself. A lot of the recipes are instant pot noodles or rice, which are foods that I really enjoy. The user, sloum, has a lot of food and art on their blog, and it is all sectioned really well. Unlike other blogs I’ve looked at that are newer with less content, this gemlog is full of a wide variety of content that shows how dedicated this user is to Gemini. Aside from the amazing food content, this blog just looks like a good guide for what a Gemini page should look like. ### => //breadpunk.club/~rye/ vegan recipes ### In addition to the vegan food recipe page, there is also an entire recipe index linked on this page: ### => //rawtext.club/~sloum/cgi/recipes/ recipe index ### This was especially fun because I was able to type in specific food ideas that I would like. Naturally, I started with pasta because I think that almost all pasta is delicious. After doing a couple of pasta variations, I found quite a few recipes that intrigued me: pasta chicken salad, chicken noodle soup, baked spaghetti, spaghetti casserole, and penne al’arrabbiato. There is such a wide range of recipes that I am able to save, and I just need a few base words to search up tons of stuff. I liked the format of this page especially because it was much more interactive than other Gemini pages I have visited, and I have enjoyed the activities I have found on Gemini
