## Getting used to using Gemini

### I think that this post will focus on my general experience with using Gemini so far. I have been introduced to lots of different platforms this semester through my classes, so I feel like I am just doing a lot of learning and getting used to different sites. It's definitely cool to have the opportunity to learn about so many different things that I can do with my computer, but it can also get a bit tricky having to juggle a wide range of platforms at one time. I am trying to get better with this and exploring Gemini has been a great way for me to find new types of content. 

### I have been using Lagrange to access Gemini, and I initially had trouble downloading the app because I must have downloaded the wrong package at first. Once I figured that out, I was able to set up Lagrange fairly quickly, but it took me an embarrassing amount of time to realize that I was downloading the wrong thing. It was especially embarrassing once I got on Lagrange and realized how easy it is to use this Gemini client.

### Once I started using Lagrange, I spent some time clicking on different links and trying to get a better understanding of what I could do on Gemini. The "Getting Started" page was really useful for me, because I had no idea what I was doing when I first got onto Lagrange. I specifically used the Gemini search engine to find Gemini hosts and feeds. As we mentioned in class, the interface of Gemini is really simple, so most everything was clear and easy to find, which I appreciated as a new user.
